Carla Franklin graduated from Duke University with a dual degree in Biology and Psychology.  She was employed for more than seven years as an IT Consultant for Deloitte Consulting and IBM before starting graduate school.  In 2008, after completing her MBA at Columbia Business School, she worked on several business development projects in Africa and later went on to work at Bain Consulting (The Bridgespan Group) as a non-profit consultant.  She is current the Managing Director of her own firm, Carlin Solutions, LLC,  and resides in New York, NY.
