Winter holiday season in the city

I consider this time of the year to be one of the best to be in New York City.  Despite having to deal with the cold weather, I find it to be a happy, festive time in the city.  There are great parties ever week, delicious foods to eat, and amazing sales.  Also, the multicultural nature of New York shines through, so whether you’re Hindu, Jewish, Muslim, Christian, Buddhist, Pagan, or Agnostic…there is something going on in the city for you.  Its a display of our interconnection as human beings.  Today, happens to be Winter Solstice, the shortest period of day light in the northern hemisphere (mid-winter).  Winter Solstice has historically been celebrated by people across the world.  What an amazing time to be in NYC.  Happy holidays everyone….
